Melissa and Brian recently had THE coziest Winter wedding at Bear Brook Valley (think lots of glowing candles, wood accents and greenery) and we were honored to have had this be our last wedding of 2018! Despite some nasty weather and not being able to photograph outdoors at BBV, the love between these two (and their families and friends) kept everyone upbeat for portraits and for that, I am grateful! Melissa and Brian are just the sweetest and it was really lovely to be able to be there for them on this day.
Cassandra Shah created a rustic and romantic arbor featuring fresh florals, berries and birch ; bouquets were a glorious and colorful mix of just about everything wintery. Melissa wanted to ensure that her wedding was seasonal, but not a nod to Christmas, and she certainly achieved the look.
A few highlights (for me, at least) included watching Melissa and Brian read letters to one another for an emotional first look; the beautiful evening ceremony underneath glass ornaments and the emotional speeches given by Melissa’s sisters and Brian’s cousin and best friend. I am only sad that we didn’t get to stay long enough to have hand-scooped ice cream 🙂
Congratulations to M+B on their new life together! Scroll down for vendor credits.
